Why Pamela Started NorthStar

There is an urgent need for accessible, high-quality support for children and families. Witnessing long waitlists and resource shortages firsthand, I felt compelled to make a difference. That's why I launched this educational advocacy business, offering private psychoeducational evaluations and expert guidance through the special education process.

With nearly 15 years of experience as a school psychologist, I bring a unique perspective to educational advocacy. My journey has taken me from top-performing districts to under-resourced communities. This diverse background has given me invaluable insights into the challenges families face across the educational spectrum and the skills to navigate complex school systems effectively.

When you work with me, you're not just getting an advocate; you're gaining a partner who understands the intricacies of the school system from the inside out. I provide evaluations that schools take seriously, incorporating data they value and recommendations they can implement. My holistic approach ensures that your child's needs are comprehensively assessed and effectively communicated, bridging the gap between home and school.
